Analyst / Accounting Representative
(San Diego)

We need a motivated, intelligent, eager accounting lover. Media Reps is seeking an Accounting Superstar to meet the data analysis and accounts payable process for an on-line media sales organization. A through understanding of business math as articulated in excel reports is needed. We are a media representation company specializing in media procurement and sales. This person will be responsible for managing , organizing accounting reports and processes, reporting of sales and statistical tracking, advertisement performance and cost analysis for as many as 30 accounts and REQUIRES A FIRM GRASP OF BASIC STATISTICS. The ideal applicant has strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication. Must have strong computer/technology skills and an ability to function well in a fast-paced environment. You will have to work at our headquarters here in San Diego.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage 10-30 Accounts
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Report tracked ad impressions, sales, account balances and inventory
  • Report all tracked sales and sales referrals
  • Produce monthly and quarterly sales and revenue reports.
  • Produce reports and renewal request to publishers and advertisers
  • Provide general office support to accounting department
  • Sales team and client interaction


  • 2+ years' experience in accounting and/or account management
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Ability to meet goals and tight time lines 
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
  • Resourcefulness and capacity to create solutions
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills. 
  • Detail-oriented approach to record-keeping
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player 
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and usage of the Internet. 

Additional Qualities:

  • 2-3 years similar work experience 
  • Prior experience in accounting data entry is a plus
  • BS degree
